In the heart of the Vendéen bocage, this bivouac sets up in a vast peaceful meadow, bordered by trees and shared with a few sheep, just a stone's throw from Saint-Flaive-des-Loups. As evening falls, the shadows creep in and silence descends, offering a rare feeling of isolation. Less than 20 minutes away are Les Sables-d'Olonne and its legendary Vendée Globe, the medieval castle of Talmont-Saint-Hilaire, and numerous forest trails. The site is very basic, without any amenities.
